Nu-Vu Conair is a joint venture company between Nu-Vu Engineers (India) and Conair Group (USA). The company is a leading manufacturer of Industrial Water Chillers, Air Chillers, Adiabatic Cooling Towers and other peripheral Process Cooling Equipment.

Talking about the company’s product portfolio, Ajay Shah, technical director, Nu-Vu Conair, says, “We are a leading manufacturer of industrial water chillers, air chillers, adiabatic cooling towers, and other peripheral process cooling equipment. Our heat transfer products cater to a wide range of applications based on the needs of the process including negative glycol chillers and twin water outlet temperatures.”

“Since our establishment in 2007, we have been manufacturing products in our state-of-the-art facility of 1,50,000 sq. ft. located at Ahmedabad (Gujarat) within the following categories: portable chillers, central chillers, adiabatic cooling towers, heat exchangers, pump tank units and temperature controllers,” he adds proudly.

Customer-centric focus on innovation

Shah said that Nu-Vu Conair has a mission of innovating continuously to accomplish its vision of being the most admired and trusted brand for equipment in its market. He adds, “Our focus on innovation is mainly customer centric to improve product quality and processes for the success of their business keeping in mind a greener environment.”

He explained with some examples that include the newly launched adiabatic cooling towers that save water by around 90% when compared to conventional cooling towers. The energy-efficient VFD-based chillers save power by 30%. For its efforts toward a green environment, Nu-Vu Conair has developed an eco-friendly chiller with R 410a and R 134a refrigerants.

The F&B industry trends and growing consumer demands

Shah believes that the disruption due to Covid is already nullified and the F&B industry will grow much faster in the near future. Commenting on the trends in the industry, he says, “The consumption of packaged foods & drinks has increased significantly in India, and it will continue to grow owing to a higher percentage of young population. Manufacturers are coming up with new and innovative products regularly to cater to the growing consumer demand. F&B industry is always a promising segment.”

Elated to be a part of the upcoming event ANUTEC in September with his team, Shah says, “ANUTEC is one of the renowned expos globally in the F & B sector and helps machinery manufacturers like us to showcase our technology and offer our equipment and services to customers. It also serves as a great platform to meet and greet industry friends thereby providing a valuable networking opportunity.”

The future is brimming with new and innovative products

He further said that the company has recently acquired 75,000 sq. ft. of land adjacent to its current facility in Ahmedabad to expand its manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing demand.
