APEDA facilitates export of 23.99 MT of frozen food products from Haryana to Canada

FoodTechBiz Desk

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) facilitated the flag-off of 23.99 metric tonnes (MT) of frozen food products from Sonipat, Haryana, for export to Canada on 1 October 2026.

The export marks a significant milestone for Haryana’s frozen food sector, highlighting the growing export potential of India’s processed food industry and its increasing presence in international markets.

APEDA’s facilitation of the consignment underscores its continued role in supporting India’s agricultural and processed food exports and strengthening the country’s position in the global agri-food trade.

The shipment also reflects the potential of regional food processing hubs such as Sonipat to contribute to India’s export growth by connecting domestic producers with international markets.
