Atlas Copco Compressor Technique India gets new GM: Bhavin Pandya

Atlas Copco Group, a global leader in compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools, and assembly systems, has appointed Bhavin Pandya as the new General Manager for its Compressor Technique Customer Center in India.

Commenting on the appointment, Thierry Monart, managing director, Atlas Copco (India), said, “We are delighted to welcome Bhavin back to India to lead our Compressor Technique operations. His global leadership experience and strong understanding of Atlas Copco’s culture will support our growth as India expands across the industrial manufacturing segments. With his expertise, we are confident in driving growth in this dynamic market and delivering greater value to our stakeholders.”

Bhavin began his journey with Atlas Copco Group in 2004 and has since taken on several pivotal roles, including Operations Manager for the Gas & Process Division, Head of Sourcing for Product Companies in Dapodi and Chakan, and General Manager of Industrial Technique, India.

In 2019, he moved to Prague, where he led Atlas Copco’s Industrial Technique operations across Eastern Europe as General Manager of the Customer Centre, overseeing 16 countries, and as Managing Director of the local entity. A mechanical engineer with an MBA from Nirma Institute of Management, he brings over 30 years of experience, including nine years prior to Atlas Copco in compressor area in application engineering, product marketing, and service sales functions.

Speaking about his return, Bhavin Pandya said, “There couldn’t be a more exciting time to be back in India – a country transforming at an incredible pace. In his new capacity, Bhavin will lead Atlas Copco Compressor Technique into its next phase of growth in the Indian market. His focus will be on strengthening customer relationships, expanding the company’s portfolio with industry-leading products, and building a cohesive, future-ready enterprise.
