Huhtamaki is proud once again to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of its employees and teams in driving forward the company’s strategy. Now in its fifth year, the Huhtamaki On-the-Go Awards recognize the exceptional contributions of employees and teams across seven important areas of the company’s 2030 strategy: Growth, Sustainability, Operations, Innovation, Leadership, High-Performance, and Safety.

This year, the winning nominations ranged from initiatives that drove Huhtamaki’s growth, such as the roll-out and sales of new Fiber products, to ground-breaking projects like the successful introduction of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) material in Huhtamaki’s feminine care films. 

Safety was also a new category for this year and the winning project included the implementation of a safety optimization initiative in all of Huhtamaki’s manufacturing sites worldwide. 

In addition to the On-the-Go Awards, Huhtamaki was proud to continue the tradition of presenting the Heikki Huhtamäki Award to one of its employees. This prestigious accolade, named after the company’s founder, recognizes an individual who possesses a transformative mindset and has made enduring contributions to the company’s success during their career.
