FoodTechBiz Desk

HRS has unveiled its newly developed Aseptic Steri Tank at its manufacturing facility in Chakan, marking a significant step in strengthening the company’s aseptic storage capabilities for demanding food and dairy processing applications.

Aseptic storage is a critical requirement across modern food processing operations. The newly introduced configuration has been purpose-engineered to support applications such as milk, milk-based beverages, fruit juices, oral rehydration solutions (ORS), and tomato puree, where maintaining strict hygiene integrity, sterility control, and consistent process stability is essential.

The unveiling ceremony was led by Group CEO Christoph Michel, who also participated in a technical session that provided detailed insights into the product’s design philosophy, manufacturing precision, and expected performance in real-world aseptic processing environments.

The HRS Aseptic Steri Tank incorporates several advanced engineering features designed to support safe and efficient aseptic storage. These include a hygienic design aligned with aseptic processing standards, optimised internal geometry and surface finishing to enhance sterility assurance, and precision fabrication carried out under stringent in-house quality controls. The system has been engineered for operational reliability, ease of cleaning, and extended service life, and is integrated with a fully automatic CIP (Clean-in-Place) system along with a valve cluster to ensure efficient and controlled operations.

During the session, the company also released a comprehensive technical brochure detailing the tank’s engineering specifications, design considerations, and application suitability for various aseptic processing environments.

Manufactured entirely in-house, the HRS Aseptic Steri Tank reflects the company’s continued focus on delivering application-driven and process-reliable solutions that meet the evolving requirements of the global food processing industry.
