Spread across 40,000 sq. ft., the new plant has effectively doubled the capacity for Batter and Parotas production. In addition to these core products, the facility could also be used to manufacture chapatis in future, strengthening iD’s Fresh Food portfolio for consumers in the region.

It’s also a step forward in strengthening our supply chain and ensuring freshness at scale.”

“We are thrilled to deepen our roots in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through this facility,” said Rajat Diwaker, chief executive officer (India), iD Fresh Food India. “Hyderabad is a key market for us, and this plant will not only cater to the city but also serve surrounding regions including Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. Our vision is to build a robust, hyperlocal supply chain while maintaining our uncompromising standards of freshness and quality.”

The plant incorporates advanced automation, ensuring that the entire production process remains untouched by human hands, thereby meeting the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. With 200+ employees, 99% of whom are from the local community, the facility is also a hub of employment and skill-building in the region.

Emphasizing iD’s sustainability goals, the plant integrates a range of green practices including solar energy usage and water recycling systems. With this latest plant, iD continues its journey of transforming Indian kitchens by delivering clean-label, convenient, transparent and hassle-free ready to cook food solutions that align with modern lifestyles without losing sight of tradition and authenticity.
