Medusa wins global recognition at World Beer Awards

FoodTechBiz Desk

Medusa Beverages, India's fastest-growing homegrown beer brand has won a Bronze at the World Beer Awards 2026, with Medusa Air recognised in the Can Label Design category. The recognition puts an Indian beer brand in the spotlight on an international platform, with Medusa Air's distinctive packaging earning recognition among entries from beer brands across markets.

The World Beer Awards is a globally recognised competition celebrating excellence across the beer industry, making the recognition a notable milestone in Medusa's journey. Medusa Air, a 4.50% ABV International Lager, features the brand's signature Medusa character, with flowing dark hair and colourful sunglasses set against a clean white background with bold navy branding. Featured across Medusa's packaging, the character has become a defining part of the brand's identity, bringing its mythological namesake into a modern and playful visual world.

Speaking about the recognition, Avneet Singh, Founder and CEO, Medusa Beverages, said, "We have always been deliberate about building Medusa as a brand that people can recognise, remember and connect with. That has shaped how we have approached the business from the very beginning, from the beer we make to the experience we create around it. Winning at the World Beer Awards is a proud moment for us and a validation of the brand we have built and the direction we are taking Medusa in as we continue to grow across markets."

The recognition comes at a time when Medusa is strengthening its presence across India and expanding into international markets, including the GCC. As the brand enters its next phase of growth, the Bronze adds to its journey of building an Indian beer brand with the ambition and scale to make its mark in international markets.
