Sabar Dairy signs MoU with Telangana Government to set up a dairy plant

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Telangana Government and Sabar Dairy to construct an integrated dairy plant for manufacturing milk and milk products at Wargal near Hyderabad.

Gujarat's leading cooperative dairy, Sabarkantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd, Himmatnagar, will establish a modern dairy plant with 5 lac liters per day capacity expandable up to 10 lac liters per day near Hyderabad for marketing of Amul milk and range of fresh products. This plant will have a facility for manufacturing of Pouch milk, Buttermilk, Curd, Yogurt, Lassi, Paneer, Ice cream, Sweet etc.

The MoU has been signed by Dr Babubhai Patel, MD, Sabar dairy and Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries, in the presence of K T Ramarao, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Telangana and Manoranjan Pani, CGM, GCMMF, J Rajan, zonal sales head, GCMMF and Pravin Patel, General Manager, Sabar Dairy.
