Stora Enso, a leading provider of renewable products in packaging, biomaterials, and wooden construction, announces the launch of Optima RF (Recycled Fiber), the newest addition to its Optima line, expanding its portfolio of fiber-based materials for paper bags.

The new product utilizes a 50/50 blend of fresh and recycled fibers to meet the growing demand from retail and e-commerce customers for materials with recycled content that don’t compromise on product quality. By combining fresh and recycled fibers, Optima RF addresses a gap in the current marketplace by supporting circularity ambitions for use cases such as shopping bags and mailer envelopes.

This launch underscores our dedication to innovation in sustainability, ensuring that our solutions support customers in navigating the evolving regulatory landscape and meeting their circularity ambitions without compromising on performance."

Introduced in response to stricter regulations and market demand for sustainable solutions, Optima RF is tailored for a wide range of applications within the retail and e-commerce sectors. In addition, the product meets stringent certifications for food contact, making it a versatile choice for various consumer goods applications such as grocery and takeaway.

The Optima RF line is available across a range of 70-110 GSM, ensuring usability across a wide range of use cases.
