Tetra Pak breaks ground on expansion of product development center in Denton, Texas

FoodTechBiz Desk

Tetra Pak has officially broken ground on the expansion of its Product Development Center in Denton, Texas, marking a significant step in enhancing its innovation capabilities in North America.

The 16,000-square-foot expansion will feature a dedicated Product Development Center alongside a Customer Innovation Center. The project is designed to nearly double the campus’s innovation capacity by integrating processing, packaging, and testing within a single collaborative environment. This setup will enable food and beverage brands to work closely with experts, test new concepts, and scale products more efficiently.

Seth Teply, President and CEO of Tetra Pak U.S. and Canada, stated that the facility aims to “bring customers, experts, and technology together,” while helping partners streamline development processes and accelerate time to market.

ARCO/Murray is partnering with Tetra Pak on the project, delivering a facility equipped with specialized process equipment, advanced utilities, and high-performance building systems tailored to meet the operational demands of modern product development.

The expansion reinforces Tetra Pak’s commitment to supporting innovation and collaboration across the food and beverage industry, providing customers with enhanced resources to develop and launch next-generation products.
