Tetra Pak has officially inaugurated the expansion of its second packaging material production line at the Tetra Pak Binh Duong plant in Vietnam. This strategic milestone reinforces Tetra Pak’s commitment to making food safe and available everywhere, while supporting the growing needs of food and beverage producers across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region.

The new line significantly increases the plant’s annual production capacity—from 12 billion to 30 billion packages—enabling faster delivery, improved efficiency, and a broader portfolio of sustainable aseptic carton packaging solutions.

To commemorate the occasion, Tetra Pak hosted an inauguration ceremony attended by food and beverage producers, manufacturing partners, and government representatives. The event was graced by the presence of Adolfo Orive, President and CEO of Tetra Pak; Phil Read, Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Transformation; Nguyen Giang, Managing Director, Tetra Pak Vietnam; Dilip Bhave, Factory Director, Tetra Pak Binh Duong; Ratanasiri (Taan) Tilokskulchai, Managing Director, Tetra Pak Thailand; and Michael Wu, Managing Director for Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

The Binh Duong plant, a state-of-the-art facility certified with the highest environmental standards, plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality and sustainable packaging solutions. The new production line not only meets the growing demand for aseptic packaging but also reinforces Tetra Pak’s long-term vision for responsible manufacturing and food safety.
