Tropicool, a global açaí and superfood brand, continues its rapid international expansion. The Brazilian brand has just opened two new stores in the south of France and its first unit in Barcelona, consolidating its presence in the Mediterranean — a strategic region for the healthy food market.
The new French stores are located in high-traffic tourist destinations on the country's south coast. The first, in La Grande-Motte (108 Rue du Port, 34280), was opened in the heart of the French coast, targeting a public seeking well-being and convenience without sacrificing flavor.
The second unit, in Le Grau-du-Roi (47 Rue Michel Redares, 30240), reinforces Tropicool's presence in the region, connecting the brand to the active and natural lifestyle typical of the south of France. The Spanish debut opened on May 17th, Tropicool opens its first store in Barcelona, in the busy Plaça Tetuan, 19-20, in the Eixample neighborhood. The new unit represents an important step for the brand in the Iberian Peninsula and promises to replicate the success of the European model.
"We are experiencing a vibrant phase of internationalization. Tropicool was created with the purpose of bringing the best of Brazil to the world, and seeing our açaí gaining ground in demanding markets such as France, Spain and Japan is a source of great pride", says Caio Nabuco, CEO of Tropicool.
Other destinations
In addition to its operations in Europe, Tropicool is also celebrating its arrival in Japan, with a new national distributor already in operation. The brand was present at Expo Osaka 2025, presenting its products to a global audience and reinforcing its position as a reference in tropical superfoods.
In Egypt, Tropicool has just opened its first unit in the country. The new store, located in Cairo, opened on May 23 and marks the beginning of the brand's physical operations in North Africa. The opening also represents an important step in strengthening Tropicool's presence in the Middle East, as part of its strategic global expansion plan.
In addition, moves are advanced with partners in South Korea, England, Ireland, Chile and other strategic markets, strengthening its international presence and positioning Brazilian açaí as a protagonist in the global health and wellness sector.
"We believe in the power of açaí as a superfood and as a product that carries the energy, biodiversity and flavor of Brazil. Seeing our brand being received with enthusiasm in such different cultures shows that we are on the right track," adds Nabuco.
