The Future of Industrial Heating is Here
On October 4, 2025, the newly established Association of Industrial Microwave Heating & High-Frequency Applications (AIMHHA) will host its inaugural global online workshop: “Next-Gen Industrial Heating – A Global Workshop on Microwave, High-Frequency & Plasma Engineering.”
This free, full-day event will explore the cutting edge of industrial heating, diving deep into the science and applications of microwave, high-frequency, and plasma technologies.
In an era where energy efficiency and sustainability are critical, traditional thermal processing methods are being challenged. Unlike conventional systems that rely on slow heat transfer via hot air, steam, or water, microwave and high-frequency energy deliver heat instantly and directly to the material. This volumetric bulk heating eliminates the need for intermediate heat-carrying media, significantly improving energy efficiency, reducing water use, and enabling effluent-free processing with major environmental benefits.
Beyond efficiency, dielectric heating mechanisms allow precise and targeted changes in materials, paving the way for innovations such as advanced peeling, texture modification, decontamination, disinfestation, and nutritional enhancement. These transformative technologies are reshaping industries worldwide.
This workshop also marks the official launch of AIMHHA, an organization dedicated to fostering a robust ecosystem for industrial microwave and high-frequency applications in India and globally. The program will guide participants through fundamental principles, system design, core applications, and future trends, including AI-driven process control and plasma agriculture. A special Innovation Showcase will spotlight indigenous breakthroughs developed in India.
Join us for a day of intensive learning, high-level networking, and an exclusive look at the future of industrial processing.
