Aptar celebrates the grand opening of the Suzhou intelligent production and R&D base

Aptar recently held a grand opening ceremony for the Aptar China Intelligent Production and Research & Development Base in Suzhou, China

This new site will serve the as a high-tech, advanced manufacturing, base for Aptar in the Asia-Pacific region. It brings together eight separate and dated workshops into one state-of-the-art site serving all Aptar’s segments, allowing us to better serve and connect with our customers across all markets in Asia.

Aptar is a global leader in consumer product dosing, dispensing and protection technologies serving variety of attractive end markets including pharmaceuticals, medical and diagnostic products, beauty care, skin care, food and beverage, dairy products, seasonings, and many other sectors which can benefit from the growing Chinese middle class. In today’s Chinese market, there are countless quality products from both international and national brands that have been brought into the homes of millions of people with our innovative and sustainable solutions.

The grand opening was attended by representatives of our customers, suppliers, and partners, local government officials, as well as Stephan Tanda, president and chief executive officer of Aptar, the Executive Committee and our team in China. It was a celebration of not only the grand opening of the new facility, but also the 30th anniversary of Aptar’s presence in Suzhou.

During the event, Xin Yao, China president and vice president and general manager of Pharma NEA shared, “Aptar China will continue to focus on the needs of customers and consumers, and through innovation and sustainable development, help customers win the market by packaging and dispensing differentiated and high-quality products, and contribute to the better life and health of our consumers.”
