Carlsberg India signs ₹1250 Crore investment MoU at World Food India 2025

Carlsberg India has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to India’s economic growth by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth ₹1250 crore with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, at World Food India 2025.

The investment will be channelled across Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Karnataka, further strengthening Carlsberg India’s manufacturing footprint while contributing to employment generation and local economic development in these key regions.

The Carlsberg India pavilion at the event was inaugurated by H.E. Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, Ambassador of Denmark to India, in the presence of Nilesh Patel, managing director, Carlsberg India.

During the event, the Carlsberg team also had the honour of presenting the company’s sustainability roadmap to Shri Chirag Paswan, Hon’ble Minister of Food Processing Industries, underscoring its commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible operations.

With this milestone, Carlsberg India raises a toast to stronger partnerships, sustainable development, and shared progress.
