Fresh India Show 2026 will host an engaging and forward-thinking session led by Naaznin Husein, a renowned Clinical Nutritionist and Digital Health Leader. Titled “From Farm to Function: Leveraging Fresh Produce for India’s Next Generation of Nutrition & Digital Health,” the session will examine the transformative impact of fresh produce on shaping modern health and wellness systems.

As India experiences a shift in lifestyle habits and dietary awareness, fresh fruits and vegetables are moving beyond their traditional role as staple foods. They are increasingly recognized as essential parts of precision nutrition and preventive healthcare. This session will explore how data-driven health solutions, personalization, and emerging scientific fields like nutrigenomics are redefining the link between agriculture and human health.

Building on her extensive experience, Naaznin Husein will present a compelling vision of how fresh produce can genuinely move “from farm to function,” becoming a core part of personalized wellness strategies. Her insights will connect clinical nutrition with rapidly advancing digital health ecosystems, demonstrating how technology enables consumers to make informed dietary choices—understanding not just what they eat, but why it matters and how it affects their overall well-being.

The discussion arises as consumers increasingly demand transparency, traceability, and scientific validation in their food choices. It also creates new opportunities for stakeholders across the value chain—including growers, exporters, and health-tech innovators—to align agricultural practices with functional health outcomes and changing consumer expectations.

By connecting agriculture, nutrition science, and digital innovation, this session aims to offer a future-ready perspective on how India can lead the integration of fresh produce into mainstream healthcare. It emphasizes a compelling vision where food is not just sustenance but a foundation of preventive and personalized medicine.

Importantly, the session also supports the global recognition of women’s contributions to agriculture and related sectors, as highlighted during the International Year of the Women Farmer 2026. It reflects the increasing leadership and influence of women in shaping the future of the fresh produce and nutrition landscape.

Attendees can expect an engaging and insightful dialogue that redefines the intersection of food, health, and technology—positioning fresh produce at the core of India’s next-generation wellness revolution.
