Centre of Excellence for Food Fortification(CEFF) at National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Haryana, is organizing a hands-on training program on ‘Edible Oil and Wheat Flour Fortification’ on 25 May 2022. The training open for students, faculty, scholars, and those working in the industry includes:

  • Technical lectures

  • Hands-on training in the wheat flour and edible oil fortification unit

  • Qualitative testing of the fortified product.

NIFTEM, Haryana has set up the CEFF to create a sustainable system for skill building on staple food fortification. Explore and learn this indispensable process, necessary in the current scenario and make people aware about the fortification initiative.

About CEFF

The Centre of Excellence for Food Fortification (CEFF) has been set up at NIFTEM, Kundli, Haryana in partnership with Hexagon Nutrition and GAIN India. This is a first-of-its-kind partnership wherein a development sector agency, a nutraceutical organization in the field of pure play nutrition, and an Institute of National importance have spearheaded a food fortification drive to eradicate malnutrition, which has continued as a major challenge for the country.
