FoodTechBiz Desk

Kerry, a global leader in taste and nutrition, will showcase its innovative portfolio at Fi Asia Indonesia 2026, taking place from 16 – 18 September at Jakarta International Expo (JI Expo). The showcase will spotlight innovation across dairy, beverages, meat, savoury flavours, and digestive health, underpinned by Kerry’s deep scientific expertise, consumer insights and market intelligence to help manufacturers turn consumer insights into solutions that add value to their business.

 “Expectations across the region are evolving rapidly as consumers demand taste and value without compromise.” SharedAndrey Dribny, VP & General Manager Southeast Asia at Kerry shared “At Fi Asia Indonesia, Kerry will demonstrate how our science backed innovation, from macro forces to consumer shifts, ensures only the most promising concepts reach the market, enabling manufacturers to respond efficiently to evolving demands in today’s competitive landscape.”

Indonesian consumer preferences are shifting, taste remains the strongest driver, nonetheless wellness and functionality are now equally important. Nearly half of consumers now choose healthier products, with low sugar emerging as the top factor in beverage choices — 47% of consumers limit sugar intake most of the time and 20% do so consistently[1]. Aside from that, authentic taste familiar to local palates continues to drive innovation, with lemon‑lime flavours recording consecutive growth[2]. At the same time, 46% of Indonesians seek functional benefits in everyday food, underscoring the need for modern solutions that seamlessly combine taste with healthier nutrition[3]

Janeley Haryono, General Manager, Kerry Indonesia shared “Indonesia’s food and beverage sector is entering a decisive phase where evolving expectations demand bold flavours, functional ingredients, and modern solutions rooted in local relevance. The concepts we will showcase at Fi Asia Indonesia 2026 are built around those insights. Our ready‑to‑market technologies are designed to help customers shape the industry’s next chapter of innovation, helping manufacturers capture opportunities and deliver sustainable solutions that resonate with today’s consumers.”

Located at Stand D1A06 [Hall 1], attendees can look forward to concepts across various segments including:

  • Dairy: Cheese reimagined into soft‑serve and versatile spreads, delivering everyday indulgence through Kerry’s taste and texture solutions;

  • Beverages: Low and no sugar concepts that meet Nutri Level requirements, balancing taste with wellness in refreshing formats tailored to Indonesian palates and powered by Kerry’s Tastesense™ technology;
