Smart solutions have a new address at Baumer- The Swiss based group mainly into factory automation and process products, vision sensors and motion products.

Headquartered in Pune, Baumer's sales office is spread across the country. They have been deeply focused on producing, developing and providing solutions through automation in the dairy industry. They have concentrated on making process sensors with a wide range of applications- pressure, temperature, level, conductivity, force and strain that are pressure. All the products are formed keeping in mind the market. Speaking on the same, Sudhir Chauhan, product marketing manager- Process Sensor at Baumer, mentions, "We have more than 200 engineers in Switzerland dedicated to new innovations. We take inputs from Indian customer and understand their requirements and design the product accordingly."

Speaking of India International Dairy Expo (IIDE), he said, "We have participated in the event to create brand awareness in the diary segment, get new leads for our products, and introduce a new launch, a transmitter developed for pressure, temperature and level. The product was launched two months back and is displayed at IIDE."
