Applications open for creation/expansion of food processing units under PMKSY

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, has announced the opening of applications under the Creation/Expansion of Food Processing & Preservation Capacities (CEFPPC) scheme, a component of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY). This initiative is aimed at empowering prospective entrepreneurs from the general category to set up food processing units outside Mega Food Parks and Agro Processing Clusters.

The scheme seeks to enhance India's food processing infrastructure and boost value addition in the agriculture sector. Entrepreneurs interested in availing of this opportunity can find the detailed guidelines, dated 22 January 2025, and other relevant information on the Ministry's official website: www.mofpi.gov.in.
