On 30 August, the Hon’ble Minister Shri Chirag Paswan held an engaging dialogue with leading stakeholders from the food and beverage industry in Mumbai, joined by H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, UAE, and Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

The discussions focused on deepening INDIA–UAE collaboration in food processing and agri-food trade, while addressing key challenges faced by Indian exporters. Shri Paswan also extended an invitation to stakeholders to participate in World Food India 2025, scheduled to take place in New Delhi.

On this occasion, Shri Paswan unveiled APEDA’s BHARATI Portal (Bharat’s Hub for Agritech, Resilience, Advancement & Incubation for Export Innovation) — a transformative platform aimed at empowering agri-food startups, accelerating innovation, and creating new export opportunities for India’s agri-food sector.

The initiative underscores the Government’s commitment to fostering technology-driven growth, enhancing global market linkages, and boosting India’s agri-food exports through innovation and collaboration.
