Tummers Food Processing Solutions and PolySense have entered into a strategic partnership to bring smarter, AI-powered solutions to the potato processing industry. Their collaboration focuses on the launch of an innovative, camera-based system that meets the rising demand for data-driven process optimization.

The first application of this breakthrough technology will be implemented on Tummers’ versatile Delta Roller Spreader. Optionally equipped with advanced cameras and sensors, the system collects and analyzes real-time product data to guide downstream processing with greater accuracy. The result: improved efficiency, minimal waste, and maximum flexibility.

This AI module also plays a key role in the development of Tummers Connect, the digital platform Tummers is building to help customers monitor, control, and optimize their operations.

“We strongly believe in the power of data and AI in industrial environments,” says Dennis Rademakers, Lead R&D Engineer at Tummers. “This partnership with PolySense allows us to turn that vision into practical, impactful solutions.”

“This collaboration shows how cutting-edge technology can be seamlessly integrated into industrial processes,” adds Yarne de Munck, CEO at PolySense. “Our AI systems are a natural fit with Tummers’ ambition to drive innovation in the sector.”
