Established in June 2019, Polygrams Green is a family-managed organization that started its operation in July 2021. Polygrams Green primarily works in the dehydration of agricultural and horticultural produce like fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices. According to Shreyas Patil, director of Polygrams Green, the objective behind the formation of Polygrams Green is to bring out the best practices in terms of food processing which will add value to the agriculture and horticulture produce.

Dehydration is one of the preservation methods used to increase the product's shelf life. Many dehydration techniques can be used to achieve better shelf life for the product. Patil informs, "We use advanced air-drying technology which dehydrates product at ambient room temperature. As we dehydrate at room temperature and products are not exposed to heat or sunlight/harsh light, we achieve maximum retention of the product's natural color, aroma, and taste. Also, we retain maximum nutrients which normally tend to degrade when products are exposed to heat of light."

Patil highlights, "We have already started with the advanced technology of dehydration where we can achieve better shelf life without any added preservative or sugar. Patil shares that as one responsible stakeholder in this industry, they ensure that the best quality, healthy, and tasty products are available to society. He informs, "We are also working towards developing new products where one can have ready-to-eat food that is prepared and preserved without any preservatives and yet handy for use anywhere and anytime. Currently, we are working on developing pre-mixed powder which will be completely chemical-free and yet will have many applications in the kitchen or on the go."

The F&B industry has seen many disruptions in minimal span of time. It's a very fast-changing and adapting industry. There are many trending concepts regarding F&B. Patil shares, "Recently, we have seen trend changing from fast food to healthy diet food. Keto, Vegan are some of the recent trends in this industry. It is currently moving in the right direction where people prefer a healthy diet. Opting of organic, chemical-free produce."

Polygrams Green at Annapoorna - ANUFOOD India 2022

Polygrams Green is participating in the upcoming trade show Annapoorna – ANUFOOD India. The company plans to display its brand Fruttons, where they will be showcasing all the fruit items, they cater under Fruttons.

Other products in the categories of vegetables, herbs, and spices will also be displayed on the shelf. "Visitors will see, taste the products and find them as fresh as a farm. Eat it. Believe it. It's nothing but as simple as pick, eat, and repeat," shares Patil.
