Superfoods Valley, nutrition and food-tech startup headquartered in Bangalore, recently welcomed Anand Kripalu to its panel of investors. The company, dedicated to ‘Making Nutrition Easy,’ is set to launch in the third quarter of FY22. It aims to bridge the issue of the nutri-gap with its products and data-backed tech solutions to challenge the ongoing endemic of hidden hunger and micronutrient deficiencies.

Anand Kripalu, with vast expertise in the food and beverages segment, has over three decades of experience in the FMCG sector and has previously held various senior level management positions of the top FMCG brands of India, such as Cadbury as the president - Asia, Mondelēz International as the president - India and South East Asia, Diageo as the managing director and chief executive officer and member of Diageo Global Executive Committee and Unilever as managing director - East Africa.

Apart from Anand Kripalu, Superfoods Valley holds trust and support of a cohort of scientific councils and experts from the field of health and nutrition, including prominent names such as Dr PR Krishnaswamy, ex-director and founder, Protein Foods and Nutrition Development Association of India, Dr B Sesikeran, Former Director National Institute of Nutrition, Mallika Janakiraman, Founder nutriQ360 Degrees, Sheela Krishnaswamy, Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, Dr Shovan Ganguli, R&D Expert and Dr Gurmeet Singh, Scientist, Inventor & Innovator researching food.
