dsm-firmenich inaugurates state-of-the-art feed additive plant in Jadcherla, India

dsm-firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) has inaugurated a new, world-class feed additive manufacturing facility in Jadcherla, Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative and reinforcing its leadership position in the Indian and Asia-Pacific animal nutrition markets.

Spanning 11,200 square meters, the new plant integrates a cutting-edge production line for Mycotoxin Risk Management solutions alongside a modern warehouse. Equipped with advanced Bühler technology, the facility adheres to the highest international standards in quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. Located adjacent to ANH’s existing Premix Plant, operational since 2018, the two facilities now form an integrated “Super Site” designed to deliver greater operational efficiency and faster service to customers.

The plant will locally manufacture Mycofix Secure and Mycofix Shield, two of ANH’s flagship solutions that safeguard animal health and food safety by neutralizing a wide spectrum of mycotoxins—contaminants increasingly prevalent due to climate change and poor harvesting conditions. By producing these solutions in India, ANH will strengthen its supply chain agility, reduce lead times, and better support farmers and feed producers across the region.
