In a bid towards mainstreaming the women working force, Sid's Farm—the Telangana-based premium dairy brand, has incorporated the first fleet of women delivery partners. The announcement was made on May 1st, commemorating the International Labour Day while successfully acknowledging the contribution of women in the service industry.

Speaking on occasion, Dr Kishore Indukuri, founder and managing director of Sid's Farm, said, "We have seen some of our greatest breakthroughs come from our women employees. This is just another step at fulfilling our promise of making our organization more conducive, nurturing, and gender-agnostic".

"Women have always been an unbeatable force in the labor market. Acknowledging their power will help us reach out to more customers while empathetically handling something as critical as early morning deliveries. We hope to break the conventional thought that only men do dairy deliveries. We have challenged the very term Milk 'man'," he added.

Sid's Farm intends to keep adding to this dedicated team of women delivery partners to make its working environment truly gender-inclusive. While there are only seven women in the first group, the dairy firm plans to increase this to a workforce of 50 women soon.

Spread over more than 4 acres of land, Sid's Farm today has a 4000 sq ft milk processing facility and a model dairy farm. While it has the best technology for dairy farming and processing, the brand has positioned itself as a premium one, manufacturing products of superlative quality.
