Vedic Pac-Systems appoints Santosh Sanap as Director, Business Unit – Sweets Division

Vedic Pac-Systems, a member of the AZO Group, has promoted Santosh Sanap to Director, Business Unit (Sweets Division), strengthening its leadership for the bakery, chocolate and confectionery segments in South Asia.

In his new role, Santosh will lead business operations and development for the company's portfolio across these segments, with a particular focus on the Indian market. His responsibilities will span the activities of key technology principals represented by Vedic Pac-Systems, supporting its engagement with manufacturers and processors across the region.

The portfolio includes solutions from BSA Schneider, CAMA Group, Chocotech, GEA Aquarius, Hebenstreit, IMS RITTER, Nuova Euromec, OKA, PFM, Sollich, Theegarten-Pactec, TT Italy and WDS.

The appointment comes as food manufacturers continue to focus on production efficiency, automation and technology integration to meet evolving market requirements. Bakery, chocolate and confectionery producers increasingly require specialised processing and packaging capabilities to improve operational performance, product consistency and manufacturing flexibility.

As Director, Business Unit – Sweets Division, Santosh will oversee the business development and operational activities associated with Vedic Pac-Systems' portfolio in these categories. His remit covers South Asia, particularly India, where the food processing and confectionery industries present opportunities for technology providers serving both established manufacturers and expanding businesses.
