The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) successfully organized India’s participation at the Anuga Food Fair 2025, held from October 4 to 8, 2025, in Cologne, Germany. A total of 40 exporting companies participated under the APEDA India Pavilion, showcasing the country’s diverse and dynamic agri-food sector.
The APEDA India Pavilion, set up in vibrant and culturally inspired colours, was inaugurated by Shri Avinash Joshi, Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI); Shri D. Praveen, Joint Secretary, MoFPI; and Ms. Shuchita Kishore, Consulate General of India, Frankfurt. Also present were Shri Arunava Sen Gupta, Deputy Secretary, MoFPI, and Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Counsellor (Commerce and Political).
The Pavilion featured a rich and diverse range of export-ready Indian products, including cereals, pulses, millets, groundnuts and value-added peanut products, herbs, ready-to-eat (RTE) and ready-to-cook (RTC) foods, dehydrated onion and garlic, organic rice, spices, superfoods, flours, dry fruits, and mango pulp. The display attracted strong footfall from e-commerce suppliers, retailers, logistics providers, and international trade professionals, reinforcing India’s growing global presence in the food and agri-products market.
Adding to the cultural vibrancy of the Pavilion, live food sampling sessions offered visitors a taste of authentic Indian delicacies such as veg and non-veg biryani, makhni paneer, and samosa chaat, while a henna art corner provided a unique cultural experience, reflecting the spirit of India’s culinary and artistic heritage.
