

Foodtech Pathshala (FTP) successfully conducted its two-day intensive training program on 'Food Dehydration & Drying Technology' on 3rd and 4th July 2026. The program brought together 18 participants, including aspiring entrepreneurs, food professionals, and students, for a combination of technical learning and practical industry exposure.
Day 1 – Technical Sessions at ICT, Mumbai
The first day was held at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. Dr. Sagar Gokhale delivered sessions on food dehydration, processing, shelf-life enhancement, quality control, and drying technologies. Mr. Nilesh Lele conducted the Go-to-Market Strategy session, focusing on market opportunities, branding, pricing, and business development. Ms. Sonal Gaikar concluded the day with a session on FSSAI licensing, registration, labelling, and regulatory compliance.
Day 2 – Industrial Visit to India Harvest
Participants visited India Harvest for an industrial exposure program led by Mr. Himay Meisheri. They gained first-hand experience of commercial manufacturing processes, machinery, production systems, quality practices, and factory management, along with valuable insights into running a food processing business.
Industry-Focused Learning
The training successfully combined technical knowledge, business strategy, regulatory guidance, and industrial exposure, helping participants understand both the science and commercial potential of food dehydration.
