The eighth edition of Fresh India Show concluded on a high note at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, reaffirming its position as one of India's leading platforms for the fresh produce industry. Held under the theme "India's Fresh Produce Trade: Growth, Innovation and Global Integration," the two-day exhibition and conference brought together key stakeholders from across the fresh fruits and vegetables value chain, facilitating business opportunities, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration.

Fresh India Show 2026 welcomed growers, exporters, importers, retailers, wholesalers, policymakers, technology providers, logistics companies, post-harvest solution providers, industry associations, and representatives from foreign embassies. With participation from more than 15 countries, the event created a vibrant international marketplace for networking and business development.

The active participation of industry bodies and associations such as the IGTD Exim Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber for Advancement of Small & Medium Businesses (CASMB), and the Greenhouse Manufacturers Association, India (IGMA) underscored the strong institutional support for the sector. Producer organizations, including the Kerala Rambutan and Mangosteen Farmers Organization, highlighted India's growing diversification into premium and exotic fruit categories.

Adding a global dimension to the event, several renowned international organizations from the fresh produce and supply-chain sectors participated, including ABRAFRUTAS (Frutas do Brasil), Garden of Europe, Washington Apple, Comex Farm Co., Ltd., ADK Export Import Co., Ltd., and Onocado Ent. Company Limited. Their presence further elevated the stature of Fresh India Show 2026 and exceeded visitor expectations by bringing international expertise, market insights, and business opportunities under one roof.

Successful launch of reverse buyer-seller meet

One of the most significant milestones of this year's edition was the introduction of the platform's first dedicated Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet. VAFA-Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Association and APEDA jointly organized the RBSM Meeting which was facilitated by Fresh India Show.  The initiative brought international buyers together with Indian suppliers, creating targeted business matchmaking opportunities designed to strengthen trade partnerships and expand export prospects.

The programme reflected India's growing ambitions in global fresh produce trade and underscored the industry's commitment to enhancing international market integration. Numerous productive meetings took place during the event, generating promising opportunities for future business collaborations and export development.
