Anuga Select India 2026, the 19th edition, and Anuga FoodTec India 2026, marking its 20th edition, open from 29 September to 1 October 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Organised by Koelnmesse Pvt. Ltd., the co-located shows bring together more than 1,100 exhibitors from over 32 countries and an expected 45,000-plus trade visitors — the strongest international participation the events have recorded to date.

Overseas companies account for a significantly higher share of the exhibitor base than in any previous edition of the fairs, as international suppliers and technology providers move to establish a presence in one of the world's fastest-expanding consumer markets.

European Union as Official Partner Region

A defining feature of this edition is the participation of the European Union as Official Partner Region at Anuga Select India — a designation that reflects the deepening commercial relationship between India and Europe following the conclusion of negotiations on the EU–India Free Trade Agreement.

Underscoring that engagement, the Official Inauguration on 29 September will be attended by Ms. Martina Englhardt-Kopf, Parliamentary State Secretary, Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity, Germany, and Mr. Silvio Erkens, Minister for Food Security, Fisheries and Horticulture, the Netherlands.

The 2026 edition is further supported by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), Government of India.

Two Platforms, One Complete Value Chain

Anuga Select India is the platform for food and beverage sourcing and trade, covering Agrifoods, Dairy, Drinks & Hot Beverages, Fine Foods, Food Service, Organic, and Sweets & Snacks, and serving buyers from retail, HoReCa and foodservice. Anuga FoodTec India is the platform for food processing and packaging technology, spanning processing machinery and automation, packaging technology and materials, food safety and quality control systems, and cold chain and storage solutions.

Held side by side, they cover the value chain end to end — from the equipment that makes food to the products that reach the shelf. For buyers, it means sourcing ingredients, finished goods and production technology in a single visit; for exhibitors, access to decision-makers across the entire industry rather than one segment of it.

Pavilions and Participation

Anuga Select India features country pavilions from the European Union, China, Brazil, Germany, Thailand, South Korea, Belgium, Philippines, Georgia, Turkey, Taiwan, Spain, Italy, Cyprus and Indonesia, alongside a Domestic Pavilion led by APEDA, the Forum of Indian Food Importers (FIFI), the Directorate of Food Processing, Government of Meghalaya, the Spice Board of India, the National Turmeric Board, the Coffee Board of India, the Coconut Development Board, the Council of Indian Food Trade (CIFT), the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Plant Based Food Industry Association (PBFIA), plus a dedicated Start-up Pavilion.

Anuga FoodTec India features country pavilions from Italy and China, alongside leading processing and packaging technology brands from markets including Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Belgium, Iran and the UAE.

Beyond the exhibition floor, the edition features curated matchmaking, industry conferences, the Culinary Corner, Retail Walk and other experiential programmes.

Mr. Milind Dixit, Managing Director – India & SAARC Region, Koelnmesse Pvt. Ltd., said, "The scale of overseas participation this year tells its own story: India has become a market the world's food industry cannot afford to overlook. Having the European Union join as Official Partner Region, and welcoming senior government representatives from Germany and the Netherlands, reflects how seriously that opportunity is now being taken. What makes Mumbai distinctive is the combination — a buyer can source finished products and production technology under one roof, across the complete value chain, in three days."

India's food and beverage landscape continues to transform, driven by demand for healthier, convenient and premium products alongside rising global interest in Indian offerings. The country's foodservice market is projected to grow from USD 85.19 billion in 2025 to USD 93.97 billion in 2026, while agricultural exports reached USD 51.91 billion in FY2024-25, registering 6% year-on-year growth.
