Markem-Imaje (MI), the global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions and industrial marking and coding systems for multiple market verticals, will be inviting attendees to experience its latest developments to support the packaging industry.
These encompass smart codes, packaging intelligence, and connected products – from manufacturing through the supply chain to the end consumer.
Currently, manufacturers face a challenging environment of ever-increasing raw material and energy prices, increased regulatory requirements in traceability, and consumer demands for improved transparency and visibility of product information. In addition, sustainability KPIs, new packaging materials, and the circular economy add interesting new elements to the agenda of both producers and the retail industry.
To this end, visitors will be able to enjoy a production line demonstrating the latest within the laser, continuous inkjet, thermal transfer overprinting, large character inkjet, and intelligent print and apply labeling systems. The inline printing demo is fully integrated and managed by Markem-Imaje’s Packaging Intelligence suite powered by CoLOS and prepared for supply chain traceability and engaging consumer experiences.
MI will also present the latest inkjet coding with its new, patented Super Piezo Inkjet technology. The unique solution is capable of printing serialized 2D barcodes in outstanding quality at high-speed on 3D surfaces. Come visit the booth to learn how MI can support the manufacturing industry to implement and comply with new regulatory requirements and standards such as Food Safety Modernization Act, Digital Product Passport, and GS1 Digital Link with serialized QR codes.
