Thane-based Prasanna Packaging Machinery manufactures filling machines, semi-automatic flavored milk filling machines & ghee filling machines. Since 1992, the company has primarily been manufacturing machines that cater to packaging for the dairy industry. Being established as a brand in the Diary industry for two decades, it was time to explore the challenges in adjacent markets of Pharmaceuticals and FMCG Hence, in 2013, the company acquired a company that had deep roots in these industries and started the journey of Prasanna Packaging.

Speaking about the company, Nikhil Vaidya, Head – Techno-Commercial & Marketing, Prasanna Packaging Machinery, said, “The first machine we sold to Chitale Dairy in the year 1995 is still up and running in their plant in Sangli, which speaks about the quality of our products. We have machines of 700 cups per hour to 7000 cups per hour in both the rotary and linear models.”

Prasanna Packaging has renowned brands added to their list, including Amul, Milma etc. The company exports machines to Nepal, South Africa, Ethipia, Uganda, USA and New Zealand and has repeat and satisfied customers.

He adds, “To date, we have never had a single machine rejected. We have recently joined hands with Godrej to create machines for capping at the speed of 160 cans per minute. The country does not currently have another source for machines of such massive capacities.”

Prasanna Packaging Machinery is looking forward to meeting you all at their Booth No B 36 at IIDE, Bombay Exhibition Center Mumbai.
