Annually, Eurocast supply over 50,000 tonnes of film to its customers in the fresh food segment worldwide. More than 30,000 tonnes of these are APET rigid films, used for the manufacture of thermoformed packaging, ideal for trays, blisters and lids. Its portfolio includes APET MONO films, APET/PE and APET/PE/EVOH/PE laminates, with PEEL or SEAL options. All structures are available in a wide range of colors and in a metallized film option. Eurocast films work very well with any top film – both with standard laminates and skin-type films.

Eurocast also produce APET film in the CRYSTA-BASE option – a high-barrier film that does not contain an EVOH layer in its structure. The key advantage of this solution is the reduction in the weight of the packaging, which leads to a reduction in the amount of raw material used in its production. It also allows 100% of the packaging produced to be recycled, as confirmed by a certificate issued by the Institut cyclos-HTP GmbH in Aachen.

On top of this, Eurocast supplies its customers with a wide range of high-barrier laminates used in packaging for the food and medical industries. The company also offers metallization and aluminium oxide AlOx sputtering options.
