LamiPak Indonesia showcases Aseptic Packaging Innovation at the 2026 National Coordination Forum on sterile food product

PT Lami Packaging Indonesia (LamiPak Indonesia) participated in the exhibition held as part of the National Coordination Forum on Commercial Sterile Food: A Decade of Risk Management Program Implementation, organized by the Directorate of Processed Food Production Supervision under the Deputy for Processed Food Supervision of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM RI), with the support of the Indonesian Food and Beverage Producers Association (GAPMMI), in commemoration of World Food Safety Day 2026 under the theme "From Burden to Solutions – Safe Food Everywhere".

The event, held on 30 June 2026 at the BPOM RI Headquarters in Central Jakarta, served as a collaborative platform for regulators, industry players, and various stakeholders to strengthen food safety implementation in Indonesia, particularly in the commercial sterile food sector.

On this occasion, LamiPak Indonesia showcased various aseptic packaging solutions, including aseptic packaging samples, paper straws, and caps for beverage products. The company also introduced its commitment to sustainability through various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Through its participation, LamiPak Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of Indonesia's food and beverage industry through safe, high-quality, and sustainable packaging innovations.

In addition to showcasing its aseptic packaging solutions, LamiPak Indonesia also presented its Used Beverage Cartons (UBC) collection and recycling program as part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in circular economy and education. Implemented across 20 schools in Cikande District, the program aims to raise awareness among younger generations about the importance of waste management and circular economy practices. This initiative also reflects LamiPak Indonesia's commitment to supporting the implementation of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework as stipulated in the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 75 of 2019 concerning the Roadmap for Waste Reduction by Producers.

The LamiPak Indonesia booth was visited by the Head of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM RI), Prof. dr. Taruna Ikrar, M.Biomed., Ph.D., and the Chairman of the Indonesian Food and Beverage Producers Association (GAPMMI), Adhi S. Lukman. During the visit, the LamiPak Indonesia team introduced its aseptic packaging technology and conveyed the company's commitment to supporting the government's efforts to strengthen national food safety.
