India's leading better-for-you snacking brand, BRB Chips, has unveiled a revolutionary new snacking product – BRB Popcorn Chips – that people won't just get enough of. The snack combines the universal appeal and benefits of popcorn with the crunchiness and convenience of chips.

Introduced for the first time in India, BRB Popcorn Chips are aimed at millions of popcorn lovers who enjoy munching on the good old popcorn while watching movies in a theatre or during those Netflix binge sessions but hate it when the skin of the corn gets stuck in their teeth or when hard un-popped kernels spoil the taste and mouthfeel.

Growing awareness around healthy eating and fitness is changing consumer preferences towards healthier snacking options such as popcorn. BRB Popcorn Chips are a healthier alternative to traditional chips and are made using the latest European popping technology. The chips are neither fried, nor baked, but popped. Popcorn chips are gluten-free, cholesterol and trans-fat-free, and contain no preservatives or artificial flavors compared to regular fried chips. The chips have a very clean mouthfeel and melt in the mouth, leaving no residue.

The company is planning to invest a significant sum of around USD 2 million over the next year in marketing, production capacity, and developing its distribution network for the new snack offering.

BRB Popped Potato Chips' earlier product range is already a big hit with consumers. BRB Popped Potato Chips are a legit smart-snack with some serious better-for-you credentials. Due to the innovative popping technology, BRB chips have 60% less fat than regular fried potato chips and have only about 110 calories per serving. According to the brand, BRB has around 30% less fat compared to baked chips.
