FoodTechBiz Desk

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has signed an agreement with Transgreen Agro & Logix for the operation and management of the Integrated Pack House located at Chunar, Uttar Pradesh.

The partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening India's post-harvest infrastructure and enhancing the competitiveness of Indian horticultural produce in global markets. The Integrated Pack House is designed to provide modern facilities for grading, sorting, packaging, and handling fresh produce, ensuring compliance with international quality standards.

By enabling efficient post-harvest management, the initiative is expected to reduce losses, improve product quality, and facilitate seamless export operations. The facility will also play a crucial role in expanding market access for farmers and exporters while supporting the growth of India's agricultural exports.

The collaboration reflects APEDA's continued commitment to developing world-class export infrastructure and promoting value-added agricultural products from India. Through improved supply chain efficiencies and quality assurance mechanisms, the initiative aims to create greater opportunities for Indian horticultural producers in international markets.

This strategic partnership is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing export readiness, strengthening farmer linkages, and boosting the global presence of Indian fruits and vegetables.
