An Indian delegation comprising leading exporters of rice, buffalo meat, groundnut, and processed foods, led by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), showcased India’s agri-food strength at the Agro-Food Summit & Buyer-Seller Meet held in Manila.

The prestigious event was graced by H.E. Harsh Kumar Jain, Ambassador of India to the Philippines, and Hon. Atty. Alvin John Balagbag, Undersecretary, Department of Agriculture, Philippines, along with senior officials and industry leaders.

The participation aimed at strengthening bilateral agri-trade, fostering business partnerships, and creating new opportunities in the Philippines and wider ASEAN markets. The engagement reaffirmed India’s commitment to delivering safe, sustainable, and high-quality agri-food products to global consumers.

APEDA continues to spearhead initiatives that position India as a trusted global supplier, while deepening collaborations with international partners for mutual growth.
