Roquette appoints Siddharth Rastogi as Managing Director for India

Roquette, a French family-owned company and global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients, has appointed Siddharth Rastogi as Managing Director of Roquette India effective July 1, 2026. Siddharth is also appointed Head of Commercial for Roquette’s Nutrition and Bioindustry (NBI) Business Unit in the India subcontinent.

In his role of Managing Director, and as Roquette’s most senior executive in India, Siddharth will represent the company with external stakeholders and drive the company’s ambitious growth agenda in India.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience across B2B and B2C sectors, Siddharth has held senior positions at Kerry Ingredients, Diageo, Olam International, Johnson & Johnson Medical and Asian Paints. Most recently, he was Managing Director and General Manager for Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent at Kerry.

Siddharth holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Mumbai.

He succeeds Virender Grover, who is retiring after more than a decade with Roquette in India. The company extends its sincere appreciation to Virender for his commitment and contribution to Roquette’s development in the country.

With five manufacturing facilities and a long-standing presence in India, Roquette serves customers across food, nutrition, health, pharmaceutical and industrial markets.
