Marking a significant step in Kenya’s agricultural modernization, President William Ruto inaugurated Sona Machinery’s latest installation — a state-of-the-art rice milling unit in Kibos, Kenya. Unlike its predecessor, the new facility is fully pneumatic, enhancing efficiency, precision, and durability. This upgrade is set to revolutionize local rice milling by reducing downtime, increasing yields, and creating new opportunities for regional producers.

Commenting on the installation, Vasu Naren, chairman and managing director of Sona Machinery, stated, “We are proud to contribute to the advancement of Kenya’s rice production industry through this cutting-edge installation.
