Yogabar has recently announced the expansion of its manufacturing capability, with the inauguration of a 60,000 sq. ft. fully automated facility at India Foodpark Tumkur, Karnataka. This move will enable an increased production capacity complemented by modern technologies to optimize the value chain to meet the brand's growing demand across the country. It is attributed to Yogabar's 6x jump from a 33 crore to a 200 crore business within two years.

The new facility will allow greater accessibility to major cities, further strengthening the brand's presence therein. The expansion will also provide jobs to 150 locals giving them a secure livelihood. An added factor that the company reinforces is its investment in staff training on hygiene and hard skills.

Keeping manufacturing in-house, Yogabar ensures that the brand continues to stay true to its trusted quality with rapid scalability. Sticking to the brand promise of 100% honesty, the facility has been built, considering the measures for superior hygiene and sanitation practices. A key reason to select India Foodpark for manufacturing is that it provides an end-to-end ecosystem for Food Processing. The key highlights are a sewage treatment plant, bio composting, and an on-campus recycling program.

Leveraging a dedicated space of 20,000 sq. ft. for warehousing, the brand looks to push its current shelf capacity from 10,000 to 40,000 brick and mortar stores.

Talking about the expansion, co-founder Suhasini Sampath said, "The brand's ethos is to provide our customers with 100% natural, clean and healthy ingredients and complete transparency on our manufacturing process. There's no better way to do that than to enforce sustainable practices from the root of our business, its production."

Sampath further mentioned, "This new facility allows for much greater volumes of productions and a quicker turnaround time to ensure that our products are also available in tier 2 and 3 cities across the country. Our improved processes eliminate human interaction with food ingredients, thus incorporating a 'lights-out' concept wherein we will also reduce electricity usage. As a new-age brand, Yogabar's innovations are not just targeted towards improving the product, but also standing strong on the brand's founding principles of being conscious and sustainable."

Another reason to invest in a new manufacturing facility is to maintain a stringent quality of products and hygiene measures at the facility. We, as a brand, aspire to uphold and strengthen the trust that every Indian consumer has placed in us."
