Grand inauguration of the 52nd Dairy Industry Conference & Exhibition at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi

The 52nd Dairy Industry Conference & Exhibition (DIC 2026), India’s most influential and comprehensive platform for the dairy sector, was formally inaugurated today at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi.

The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Food Processing Industries, Shri Chirag Paswan, in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries, Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel. The ceremony marked the commencement of a landmark gathering that brings together key stakeholders from across India’s dairy value chain.

The grand inaugural session witnessed the participation of national policymakers, institutional leaders, cooperative heads, private sector representatives, and industry stalwarts, underscoring the strategic importance of the dairy sector in strengthening India’s agri-food economy and rural livelihoods.

According to the organizers, Day 1 of DIC 2026 recorded tremendous participation, with 211 exhibitors showcasing innovations and solutions across an expansive 18,000 square metres of exhibition space. The conference also saw an overwhelming response with over 42,000 online registrations and thousands of visitors attending in person, reflecting the growing scale and relevance of the platform.

From insightful conference sessions to a vibrant exhibition floor featuring cutting-edge technologies, DIC 2026 has set the tone for two more days of meaningful dialogue, powerful collaboration, innovation, and high-impact networking.

The conference continues to serve as a vital forum for advancing India’s dairy ecosystem, fostering partnerships, and driving sustainable growth in one of the country’s most critical agricultural sectors.
