Agilent and NIFTEM-K collaborate on specialized workshop to advance Ethylene Oxide (EtO) testing practices

Agilent recently partnered with the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Kundli (NIFTEM-K) to host a specialized workshop aimed at advancing knowledge and best practices in Ethylene Oxide (EtO) testing. The event brought together key dignitaries, including Dr. Harinder Oberoi, Dr. Samir Vyas, Dr. Ajai Prakash Gupta (Director, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India), Dr. Komal Chauhan, Dr. Dinesh Bisht, and Dr. Kishanpal Singh, who led discussions on the growing global concerns surrounding the health risks associated with EtO.

The workshop was meticulously designed to provide participants with the latest expertise and hands-on experience in EtO analysis. Expert-led sessions by Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Praveen Arya, Anuraj Kumar, Vinay Jain, and Rahul Sharma focused on current regulations, testing methodologies, and the critical implications for food producers and manufacturers.

Dr. Samir Vyas, Country General Manager, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, “I am extremely proud of the joint efforts of NIFTEM and Agilent in organizing this comprehensive workshop on Ethylene Oxide testing. This initiative not only underscores our commitment to food safety but also highlights the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing key public health concerns.
