AUK Mech Engineering is an automated engineering Kanpur based company that focuses on the manufacture of an array of equipment for the chocolate and candy industry. Their main focus is manufacturing and designing equipment for the chocolate and confectionery businesses in India and abroad. For chocolate gems line, honey and sugar spray system, chocolate blister pack with ball mill, chocolate molder, chocolate depositor machine, chocolate spray system and chocolate pan coating among others.

Talking about the company, Afzal Khan, chief executive officer at AUK Mech Engineering said, “AUK Mech Engineering Food Processing Machinery had a humble beginning in 1960 and slowly made its way to exhibiting their equipment in countries like Germany. Chocolate is an attractive product in India as well as overseas. Indians love products like gems and that is why we have developed our own chocolate gems lines and spray system.”

Regarding global opportunities, he added, “In other countries there are no products like Indian mithais and the chocolate craze is already high. So, we are catering to both the markets.”

He added, “We also offer R&D facilities to our customers if needed. We are a one stop solution for all needs of our clients.”

Speaking on how the Snack & BakeTec, he said, “At this exhibition, we are the only company focusing on chocolates and got good response from customers. We got good business in Mumbai and have been extremely busy with clients and are planning to open a plant here since it is the best place to exhibit and the tourist margin is 100%.”
