Vandana Tandon is Country Manager, SIG Combibloc India. With more than 18 years of experience in the field of B2B sales & business development, Vandana Tandon is the Country Manager at SIG Combibloc India Private Limited. Born and brought up in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Vandana completed her graduation in B.Com Honours from Kanpur University and her MBA from the Institute of Management Studies.
During the course of her 26-years-long career, Vandana has handled several roles involving marketing and financial management, product management, strategy planning, business development, and more. Starting off as a Management Trainee at Infosys in 1994, she has worked with DCM Data Systems, International Flavors and Fragrances, Tetra Pak, and Orana India, before joining SIG India in 2018, at a time when the organisation was refocusing its attention on the India market.
Drawing upon her extensive experience and knowledge of the B2B business segment and the food and beverages sector, Vandana leveraged her key strengths and insights to drive business efficiency at SIG. In addition, her prior experience in different stages of the product value chain helped her drive actionable strategies to develop and enhance customer relations, manage stakeholders, and lead high-performance teams across several verticals. At a time when SIG has refocused its attention on the Indian market, the last three years have seen Vandana help bring about significant growth and development for the company by delivering impeccable trust, goodwill, and customer satisfaction. Today, SIG works with several leading F&B brands including Dabur, Coca Cola, Amul, and more, with a target of a 10% increase in market share, year-on-year, penetrating both the dairy and juice segments in the country.
Owing to the high emphasis on price points and value-added services in India, SIG is uniquely positioned to cater to the discerning consumers of today, despite being a late entrant. The ability to fill particulates such as juices with pulp or drinks with nuts and raisins is yet another key differentiator for the organization.
