Huhtamaki marked a significant milestone with the official opening of its expanded manufacturing facility in Paris, Texas, strengthening its capabilities to serve Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) customers across North America.
The Paris facility has been a cornerstone of Huhtamaki's operations for more than 50 years. The latest investment builds upon this strong manufacturing legacy, enhancing production capacity and supporting the company's long-term growth strategy in the region.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Huhtamaki President and CEO Ralf K. Wunderlich and Sara Engber, President, Fiber and North America, along with employees, business partners, elected officials, and community leaders. The event highlighted Huhtamaki's continued commitment to its customers, employees, and sustainable growth in North America.
“This expansion represents more than an investment in infrastructure—it reflects our confidence in the future, our dedication to serving customers with excellence, and our commitment to creating opportunities for our people and the communities in which we operate,” said company leadership during the event.
The celebration also recognized the contributions of the Huhtamaki Paris team and the many partners whose dedication, expertise, and collaboration made the expansion possible. With a proud history spanning more than five decades, the facility's success continues to be driven by the commitment and professionalism of its workforce.
As Huhtamaki looks ahead, the expanded facility will play a key role in supporting customer growth, advancing operational excellence, and reinforcing the company's position as a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions in North America.
