Hyderabad-based Sid's Farm ramps up 'Talent' hiring with focus on Milky Inroads

Sid's Farm, a premium dairy brand based in Telangana, has focused on putting the best Talent Team in position, aiming to ramp up quality milk production and delivery chain in the face of a rising market of superior dairy products.

The farm supplies more than 23,000 liters of milk in Hyderabad alone and expects to supply in Bangalore and nearby cities. As Sid's Farm plans to mark its presence in 1500 plus physical stores across the geography from the current 300 plus stores apart from greater direct to customer penetration, it is currently focusing on key talent hiring.

Founder and managing director of Sid's Farm, Dr Kishore Indukuri, an IIT Kharagpur and the University of Massachusetts Alumni, said, "Our first attempts to educate and build awareness of quality milk products have been very successful. Sid's Farms' vision of setting a new benchmark in the milk industry with superior quality dairy products, a sustainable ecosystem and building a thriving chain of suppliers now needs to become self-sustained through supported operations. Hence, we have worked hard to get the senior talent pool in place, who can lead the farm to its next level."

Among the talent hired by Sid's Farm are six leaders in marketing, human resource and management to focus on the brand awareness, expanding market and future growth plans.

Divyadeep Lolla, AVP Operations, has more than 14 years of experience and is an alumni of the University of South Carolina and Osmania University. An ex-Daimler-Mercedes Benz personal leads the way for operational efficiency in Sid's Farm.

Harsha Vadakattu, AVP Finance, has more than 12 years of experience in big companies like Milk Lane, Ashok Leyland, Nallis and others will be in charge of financing the expansion plans of Sid's Farm apart from handling core functions like accountancy and finance control.

Rajesh Degala AVP Sales, has 18 years of experience, especially in fast-moving consumer non-durables like Kelloggs, Danone, Redbull, Oarmeal, leading the operations, market strategy and team building. He will be training, mentoring and leading the sales team of Sid's Farm apart from leading the sales strategy for the organization.

Sujatha Ramakotty, GM HR, has more than 20 years of experience in guiding, counseling and finding the right person for the startup. An ex-Hatsun, Lactalis France (Thirumala Milk), Klite Industries, understands the industry's requirements and provides the manpower behind the expansion of Sid's Farm. She is also responsible for creating a conducive work environment and human capital policies.

Tamal Chatterjee, AVP Marketing, has experience of over 19 years with Executive Masters in Marketing from IIM Bangalore. An ex Epson, Wipro, Sahaj and Milk Mantra, he is a tangential thinker, team builder and cross-channel marketer. With a lot of experience in the milk industry, Tamal brings a natural force in strategizing Sid's Farm's expansion and marketing plan.

Gopi Krishna Darapurapu, AVP Sales, has nearly 23 years of experience in brand building and sales management. An ex Kellog's, Heritage, Tata Global Beverages and Pepsico he is well versed with the FMCG brands and marketing channels. Passionate in building the brands and working with the startups, Gopi Krishna will be driving the revenue target of Sid's Farm from the fore.

"We now have a formidable force behind the market capture that we are looking at. Sid's Farm produces niche products and proudly claims that we sell 100 percent hormone-free milk. The product's positioning and pricing need confident handling and awareness creation. We believe that there are enough customers who understand the value of quality. The challenge is to reach to them. My leadership team is inspired to lead the way to provide families and communities with pure, healthy, adulterant-free milk and milk products," Indukuri said.

According to a new report by EMR titled, 'Indian Dairy Market Report and Forecast 2021-2026', the Indian dairy market stood at a value of around USD 144.55 billion in 2020. Further, the market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6% over the forecast period of 2021-2026. SID's Farm has firmly established its presence in that expandable market and is ready for the next growth tangent.
