

MEWA India, the flagship event of the Nuts and Dry Fruits Council (India) NDFC(I)has been awarded Runner-Up in the Best Seminar Category at the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2026, marking a significant milestone for India's nuts and dry fruits industry and reinforcing the event's emergence as a leading platform for sector-wide dialogue and knowledge exchange.
The recognition comes at a highly competitive edition of the awards, which received more than 600 nominations across 35 categories. The award was conferred in recognition of the quality of engagement, industry-focused discussions and expert-led seminars and panel sessions hosted during MEWA India.
The achievement assumes significance as it comes in only the third edition of MEWA India, underscoring the rapid rise of the platform within the exhibition and conference ecosystem. Over the past three editions, MEWA India has evolved into a key meeting point for stakeholders across the nuts and dry fruits value chain, bringing together traders, importers, exporters, processors, policymakers, industry experts and global participants.
