

At Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, Kerry invites visitors to step inside Kerry Unboxed – a live, multi-sensory experience that turns food innovation into action. The theme combines taste, technology and creativity through a series of live activations that demonstrate Kerry’s expertise in connecting foodservice and retail.
Trend-Forward Concepts
Under the Kerry Unboxed theme, the booth will showcase a range of innovative food and beverage concepts inspired by global trends and local tastes. The Barista Live Sessions will feature the signature Gold Brew Qahwa — a fusion of Arabic coffee and lemonade finished with gold shimmer, blending tradition with modern flavour.
Chef Live Sessions will translate popular global taste and flavour trends into creative, delicious food concepts that bridge foodservice and retail creativity. This includes Truffle Parmesan-inspired Black Coated Chicken, and Oh My Goshujang! — a tender short rib slow-cooked in spicy-sweet gochujang, highlighting Korea’s influence on global cuisine, presented by Korean Chef In Woo Park.
Adding an American touch, Chef Danny Bruns will bring the viral Nashville Chicken trend to life, reimagined in Nashville Chicken Potato Chips. The Hot Honey Power Bar fuses function and flavour with a chicken-based, granola-coated concept inspired by the hot honey trend.
Finally, The Cocoa Challenge invites guests to taste indulgent creations made with 20% less cocoa — proving that great taste and innovation can go hand in hand.
Kerry Unboxed: Where Insight Meets Innovation
At the heart of the Kerry booth is the Immersive Storytelling Room—a dynamic, experience-led space that brings three stories to life: kid-approved cheese snacks developed in partnership with KidZania, cutting-edge beverage concepts, and World Cup-inspired snack innovations.
Kerry’s collaboration with KidZania led to the Kids Flavour Detective Co-Creation Workshop—a hands-on, educational experience where children explored the science of taste and shared their preferences. Insights gathered from this initiative informed the creation of two new cheese powders: Savoury Parmesan and Creamy Gouda.
Kerry will showcase a range of regional and international product concepts at Gulfood using these cheese powders, designed to deliver bold, authentic flavours for global and regional palates, while showcasing how Gen Alpha’s tastes are influencing the future of food.
Every element of Kerry Unboxed is grounded in regional consumer insight. According to PwC’s Voice of the Consumer 2025: Middle East, 36% of consumers rank taste among their top three food priorities, while 53% order takeaway or ready-made meals at least weekly, signalling strong demand for flavour-forward, convenient offerings. Further, a Euromonitor-cited study found that 30.3% of consumers snack as a form of indulgence, underlining the importance of taste-driven innovation in the region.
Additionally, bringing his deep expertise in Smart Health and knowledge in bioscience to the Kerry booth is Professor Imed Gallouzi, Scientific Advisor to the Kerry Health and Nutrition Institute (KHNI), who will speak on Smart Health. KHNI’s Scientific Advisory Council guides Kerry’s research and innovation teams on some of the fastest growing areas in the science of nutrition and health.
Dr. Imed Gallouzi is a Professor of Bioscience and the Chair (Director) of the KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) Center of Excellence for Smart-Health in Saudi Arabia.
On 4 November at FoodTech Summit, Inanc Isik, General Manager of Retail, Middle East, will be on the Visionary Leaders in Armchair panel, sharing insights on the topic From Experience to Excellence: Reframing End to End Food Manufacturing to Drive Transformational Change Built on Risk, Resilience and Reality.
