Givaudan inaugrates new Sweet Goods & Beverages lab in Bangalore

New application lab enhances Givaudan's ability to co-create and deliver tailored solutions for customers across South Asia, Middle East and Africa region

Givaudan, a global leader in Taste & Wellbeing announced the inaugration of its new Sweet Goods & Beverages application lab in Bangalore, strengthening its innovation capabilities and support to customers across the region.  

Complementing existing facilities in Mumbai and Gurgaon, the new lab is designed to deliver faster, more localised innovation for sweet goods and beverage categories, including bakery, confectionery, dairy, and beverages. Operational since May 2026, the lab was officially inaugrated by Antoine Khalil, President of Taste & Wellbeing, during his visit to India.  

“India is a strategic growth market for Givaudan, and this new lab in Bangalore reflects our long-term commitment to the country, where we have been operating for over half a century,” said Antoine Khalil. “The facility strengthens our ability to respond faster to evolving consumer preferences and accelerate more localised innovation across sweet goods and beverages. By combining our culinary expertise with advanced application capabilities and scientific know-how, we can continue to co-develop differentiated solutions and deliver meaningful food experiences for customers across India and the wider South Asia, Middle East and Africa region.”  

Equipped with advanced application capabilities, the lab enables customers to move seamlessly from concept to application through hands-on co-creation, rapid prototyping, and real-time testing, accelerating development cycles and ensuring solutions are tailored to specific market needs.
